Sagrario LOPEZ LOSADA

- Born in Arrasate-Mondragón, Gipuzkoa, Southern Basque Country. (June 1945).

- In the decade of the sixties she worked as a secretary in the factory RONBO S.A. and studied Professonal Commercial Training.

- At the age of nineteen she was elected as shop stewardess.

- She was a member of the Communist Party until 1971, she emigrated to Belgium in 1969 for personal and political reasons.

- Co-founder of the alternative school "La Maisson" in Louvain la Neuve, where she worked as a member of the pedagogical team until her return to the Basque Country in 1977.

- Back in the Basque Country, she works in the services sector and militates in favour of the Democratical Rights and is a member of the feminist collective Egizan.

- Autodidact poetess, she has closely contributed to several articles, communications and works, together with his life partner José Antonio MENDIZABAL ETXABE.
